I love to cook, garden, and craft. I worked for many years in Primo Picks at HEB plus. I loved being the wine girl. Because, hey, who doesn’t like the girl handing out free wine? Unfortunately, because of COVID-19, the demos at HEB stopped. I suddenly had more time to spend at home, like many of us in this given situation, and chose to fuel my love for crafting.

You know the old saying, “One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.” I have a true passion for taking people’s scraps and turning them into works of art. Thanks to the web, I’ve discovered that I’m not the only person with this passion. One day, while looking through some of my favorite “Junk is Art” sites, I stumbled upon some pictures of old tires being painted and used as planters. Come to find out, it’s pretty easy to find old tires. I began collecting tires and making works of art in my backyard. After posting several pictures on Facebook, I began to receive offers from people to buy my new planters. Since I wasn’t working at HEB longer, the extra income came in very handy. So, Terri’s Tires was born!
